Veteran actress Neena Gupta turns 62 today. She has been a part of the Hindi film industry for over three decades. As she celebrates her birthday, Bollywood celebrities who have worked with her have wished her on this occasion. The first one is not surprisingly her daughter Masaba Gupta.
She shared a picture of her mother and penned a lovely and heartfelt note. She stated- "Defying age, breaking rules & uninterested in what the world has to say...all while having a lot of fun! That's @neena_gupta & it's her birthday today. Happy birthday Mom." [SIC]

Hrithik Roshan dropped a comment on the post and wrote- "Beautiful ! Happy birthday." Mini Mathur commented- "She is a pathbreaking, inspirational, utterly gorgeous woman. Happy birthday neenaji." Konkona Sensharma extended two black hearts on the post.
Sonam Kapoor, who played her daughter in âVeere Di Wedding', shared a beautiful picture with the actress on her Instagram story to extend her wishes. Her âBadhaai Ho' co-actor Ayushmann Khurrana shared a gorgeous vintage picture of Gupta meanwhile.
For the uninitiated, Gupta's tell-all autobiography "Sach Kahun Toh" will hit the stands on June 14, publisher Penguin Random House India announced on Friday.
From her time at the National School of Drama (NSD) to moving to Bombay (Mumbai) in the 80s and her single parenthood, the book will share Neena Gupta's life story in the most "unapologetically honest" manner. "She details the big milestones in her life, her unconventional pregnancy and single parenthood, and successful second innings in Bollywood," the publisher said in a statement.
The book addresses issues like casting couch, film industry politics, and also talks about what it takes for a young actor to survive without a godfather or guide. "Sach Kahun Toh is a candid, self-deprecating portrait of the person behind the persona, detailing her life's many choices, her battles against stereotypes, then and now, and how she may not be as unconventional as people think her to be," the publisher added.
