Mahira Khan Wedding: Actress shares pictures from pre-wedding ceremonies, pays tribute to 'nani and dadi'

Mahira Khan Wedding: Mahira Khan tied the knot for the second time on October 1, 2023, in Pakistan. She got married to her fiance, Salim Karim, in the presence of family members and close friends. Today, the Raees actress shared some more pictures from the intimate ceremony on Instagram.

Mahira penned a note on Instagram and described the efforts taken by her mother, who is wheelchair-bound. The actress did a special gesture to pay tribute to her maternal and paternal grandmothers.

She wrote, "My mother had one wish… to start the wedding with a dua. My beautiful Ama, who is in a wheel chair - one would think she can't do much - but really, she can do everything and anything. She sat and managed the decoration downstairs, the table, the moving around of furniture anddd she was ready dot on time..Alhumdulillah for our parents."

Mahira added, "Later on that day, my childhood girlfriends had a mayun for me. Alhumdulillah for friends I can call my sisters. P.S I took a bud of the motia and put it in my baali before going down.. for my Nani and Dadi."

In the pictures, Mahira can be seen dressed in two outfits. One was a delicately embroidered powder blue churidar with an elegant and beautiful dupatta. The other outfit was orange in colour with a green border. She plucked buds of mogra and adorned her earrings with them.

Mahira shared her wedding video on October 3 and wrote, "My Shehzada, Salim (sic)." In the clip, the groom was seen getting emotional at the ceremony. It was an overwhelming moment as tears of joy didn't stop rolling down the cheek. Mahira's son, Azlaan, walked her down the aisle on her special day. The young lad cried when his mother tied the knot with the love of her life.

The Humsafar star wore a pastel blue lehenga for the wedding. She completed her subtle look with a long veil. Mahira's hair was done in a neat bun. She completed her look with deep pink lips. With well-defined chiseled cheeks, the gorgeous bride, Mahira Khan, was there to rule.
