Pakistan actress Mahira Khan tied the knot with businessman Salim Karim on October 2nd. Now, the actress has taken to her social media to share a dreamy picture and a beautiful reel from her wedding day.
While posting the picture, Mahira wrote, "Bismillah." In the picture, the actress and her husband Salim can be seen sharing a romantic moment. Mahira was dressed in a stunning lehenga, while Salim complemented her in a black suit. The actress also shared a reel from their wedding day.

The reel features their grand venue, a beautiful bridal entry, the "kabool hai" moment, and an inside look into their dreamy wedding. As Mahira walked down the aisle, Salim got emotional as he saw his bride, and he was seen wiping away tears. When they reunited at the altar, the groom lifted the beautiful bride's veil. In a heartwarming and emotional moment, they hugged each other. While posting the reel, she wrote, "My Shehzada, Salim."
As soon as the actress shared a glimpse of her fairytale wedding, many of their industry friends extended their wishes to the newlyweds. Mouni Roy while commenting on the pictures wrote, "Heartiest congratulations to both of you. Wish you the happiest most meaningful journey ahead". While Rhea Kapoor said, "Congratulations". Sonam Kapoor also congratulated the couple and said, "Congratulations beautiful girl God bless you both". Fans also extended their wishes to the couple.
Mahira confirmed her relationship with Salim in 2020 during an Instagram live with Pakistani designer HSY. When the designer asked, "You are in love now, his name is Salim. When you look deep into his eyes, what is the first thing that comes to your mind?" The actress said she wasn't comfortable talking about her personal life. Instead, she recited a dialogue from her famous show, Humsafar, to explain her feelings. "There's a line in Humsafar, which I thought was beautiful, where Ashar says to Khirad, 'Pata nahi tum mujhe kis naiki kay badlay main miley ho (I don't know what I did right to deserve you.) I think the same about him," she shared.
She added, "I don't know what have I done in my life, [but I] must have done something good because of which Allah blessed me with."
Reportedly, in April 2019, Mahira and Salim got engaged in an intimate ceremony in Turkey. She was previously married to Ali Askari. They tied the knot in 2007 and got divorced in 2015. Their son Azlaan was born in 2009. Mahira made her Bollywood debut with Raees opposite Shah Rukh Khan in 2017.
