Koi Jaane Na: It was a fangirl moment for Amyra Dastur as she meets Aamir Khan

After Prassthanam (2019) and Made in China (2019), Amyra Dastur is back with Koi Jaane Na, where the actress will be seen sharing the screen space with Kunal Kapoor. Amin Hajee's film features Aamir Khan in a dance number. At a screening held for the cast and crew, Dastur got an opportunity to meet Mr Perfectionist. It was a fangirl moment, and Khan told her he was impressed with her performance in the suspense thriller. He certainly made her day.

Last seen in Netflix's Rajma Chawal, Amyra Dastur will have a busy year ahead. "I am tired, and need to push myself harder, but this is the age when I must [work hard]. I was shooting for Koi Jaane Na and Mental Hai Kya at the same time. Hence, travelling for them took a toll on me," says the actor in an exclusive interview with mid-day.

The actress says she's more certain about the body of work coming her way now. "I am getting consistent work, and the scripts coming my way are also better. I am not worried."

For the uninitiated, Aamir has made a special appearance in the film. He is part of the song "Har Funn Maula, where he is seen grooving with Elisabeth Elli AvrRam. Kunal and Aamir will be sharing the screen after 15 years. They were seen together in the film Rang De Basanti. The film is a psychological thriller and has been directed by Amin Hajee, who shot to fame playing Baagha the mute drummer in "Lagaan". The film is slated to hit the screens on April 2.
