Koffee With Karan 8: Sara Ali Khan dismisses reports of dating cricketer Shubman Gill, says 'you've got the wrong Sara'

The new promo of Koffee With Karan 8 is out. The next guests on the show are Sara Ali Khan and Ananya Panday. The young divas of Bollywood are expected to spill some tea on their relationships, careers and their friendship despite being contemporaries. Koffee With Karan 8's promo revealed a couple of revelations. The episode will premiere on Thursday on Disney+ Hotstar.

In the promo of Koffee With Karan 8, host-filmmaker Karan Johar asked, "You have ex-boyfriends in common!" Sara reacted, "Oh that's a very good start to the show." Ananya gave a sly reply and said, "Let's address the Liger in the room." Sara exclaimed, "No, no, no, no." They apparently hinted at Vijay Deverakonda who worked with Ananya in Liger and appeared with her on Koffee With Karan 7.

Karan addressed the topic of Sara's alleged rumours of dating cricketer Shubman Gill. The actress clarified, "You have got the wrong Sara guys. Sara ka sara duniya galat Sara ke piche pada hai (The whole world is after the wrong Sara)."

Shifting focus to Ananya and rumours of her relationship with Aditya Roy Kapur, Karan asked her how she was 'managing her nights'. Sara pitched in and said Ananya has 'The Night Manager'. For the unversed, Aditya headlined the Hindi adaptation of The Night Manager which premiered in two parts on Disney+ Hotstar in earlier this year. The actress answered another question which was about her being 'Gumraah' in love. She said, "Ashiqui aise hi hoti hai (Love is like that only)... What?! Stop talking!" Aditya also did a film titled Gumraah.

In the previous guest list reveal promo, Ananya reacted to a comment by Sara and said, "I am feeling very Ananya Coy Kapur."

In August 2022, reports of Sara and Shubman's affair gained ground after they were spotted at a restaurant in Mumbai. Back then, rumours of Shubman's split with Sachin Tendulkar's daughter Sara Tendulkar circulated on social media. Reportedly, they were dating for quite some time. Fans assumed Shubman and Sara broke up after they unfollowed each other on social media.

Later, on the Punjabi chat show titled Dil Diyan Gallan, the cricketer dropped a major hint at his relationship with 'Sara'. The host of the show, Sonam Bajwa asked Shubman who is the fittest female actor in Bollywood. In response, the cricketer immediately replied, "Sara." When asked if he is dating Sara, he promptly said, "Maybe."
