Karwa Chauth has always been special for Bollywood. Every year, several of Bollywood's A-listers come together to break their day-long fast at Anil Kapoor and Sunita Kapoor's residence in Bandra, Mumbai. This year too, it was no different. The couple hosted a special Karwa Chauth party at their residence, which was graced by Bollywood celebrities including Shilpa Shetty, Mira Rajput, Geeta Basra and Reema Jain.
Shilpa Shetty, who is married to Raj Kundra, looked radiant in her stunning pink and red sari. The actress is known to celebrate the festival with great fanfare. The actress took to her Instagram and shared a video of the pooja ceremony. While sharing the video actress wrote, "Happy Karva Chauth ladies. Thankyou @kapoor.sunita for all the meticulous planning and doing all the rituals with so much love."

On Wednesday morning. Shilpa took to Instagram and gave a glimpse of her wholesome Sargi thali. In the huge thali, one could see matthi, sweets and lachcha seviyan. Besides food, there were bangles, bindi and mehendi. "#Sargi #Happyfasting," she captioned the post, adding a few red heart emojis and a nazar amulet emoji.
Sargi is a traditional thali that mothers-in-law usually give to their daughters- in-law. The thali includes makeup, jewellery, clothes and foods that one consumes before sunrise, and fast throughout the day, until moonrise.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Shilpa will be seen in Rohit Shetty's OTT debut 'Indian Police Force, which also stars Sidharth Malhotra and Vivek Oberoi. The series will stream on the OTT platform Amazon Prime.
Shilpa will also be seen in KO-The Devir as Setyevalt alongside / favichandran and Sanjay Dutt. The pan-indis multilingual will be released in Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam, and Hindi.
