Karisma Kapoor divorced husband Sunjay Kapur divorced in 2016 and acquired custody of their children, Samaira Kapoor and Kiaan Kapoor. However, Sunjay was given visitation rights and recently met his kids, clicked pictures with Samaira and Kiaan. Sunjay Kapur's present wife, Priya Sachdev Kapur took to her Instagram account to share their images. Priya wrote, "Twosday The perfect twosday post ! Loving, doting, caring and an amazing father... #fatherdaughter #fatherandson #fatheranddaughter #twosdaytuesday #twosdays #twosday #twosday#twosday #twosdayvibe (sic)."

At the time of their divorce, Karisma's lawyer Mahesh Jethmalani had told mid-day that both parties have amicably resolved the matter. The financial and custody terms have also been settled. He had also said that the couple's children - Samaira and Kiaan - will be under Karisma's care, but Sunjay will have access to them for two weekends during vacations.

Sunjay Kapur and Karisma Kapoor married in 2003. They decided to file for divorce through mutual consent in 2014 but withdrew the petition after Karisma alleged that Sunjay had failed to comply with the financial commitments mentioned in the terms of consent. Sunjay had argued in court that the actress had failed as a wife, mother, and daughter-in-law, and that she had married him only for money. The actress later filed a domestic violence case against Sunjay and his mother. Sunjay Kapur and his current wife Priya Sachdev have a daughter Safira.

Speaking of Karisma Kapoor, she is rumoured to be dating businessman Sandeep Toshniwal and is often spotted with him at the Kapoor family gatherings. Rumour mills are even abuzz that they may tie the knot soon.
