Koffee with Karan 8's opening episode has created a lot of stir on the internet. The episode featured Bollywood's favorite couple, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh. Their fans couldn't stop gushing over their sizzling chemistry. Many clips from the show have gone viral. However, not everyone was pleased, as some individuals criticized Deepika and Ranveer for their candid discussion about their relationship. On October 29, Karan Johar took to Instagram and hit back at the trolls, putting an end to the negativity.
On Sunday, Karan Johar did a live session on his Instagram. In this session, the famous filmmaker dropped some hints about his next episode. He also talked about the people who make negative comments on social media and mentioned that it won't lead them anywhere.
During his live session, KJo said, "Keep your criticism constructive." He further addressed trolls and continued by saying, "If you want to troll usâ¦Do what you need to do because no one's looking."
He also said, "Trolling gets you nowhere. You are landing nowhere. You're filling and brimming your heart with negativity but landing nowhere because what's gonna happen will happen to the people you're trolling. If they're gonna meet success, they will. If they're gonna fail, they will. It has nothing to do with you."

In the episode, Deepika had mentioned, "I wanted to be single for a while because I had come from difficult relationships. I was going through a phase where I said 'I just don't want to be attached, don't want to be committed'. And I had fun! And then he comes along, so I didn't commit, until he proposed to me. There was no 'commitment as such. Even if we were technically allowed to see other people, we would just keep coming back to each other (sic.)"
As the episode went on, there was a moment that fans caught on to. Deepika asked Ranveer Singh who her âother suitors' were. To which, Ranveer Singh, visibly miffed said, "Abhi toh tumne bola I was seeing other people but I would go back to him. Tumko ab yaad nahi aa raha hai (Just a few minutes ago you said you were seeing other people and now you can't remember)?" "I can't remember the people," Deepika added. "I remember very clearly (sic.)" Ranveer Singh responded.
