Salman Khan, Atlee and Allu Arjun
News is that Atlee has decided to move on after his plans to collaborate with Allu Arjun for his next didn't materialise. Rumours are rife that the filmmaker has now approached Salman Khan with the same subject. Discussions are still in the initial stages, and Atlee is planning to roll the movie in the first half of 2025. However, it also remains to be seen if the superstar-producer will be okay with the director's remuneration, which has been hiked after the stupendous success of his last, Jawan (2023), with Shah Rukh Khan. Recent reports indicate that Atlee's film with Allu Arjun fell through as the producers found the director's asking fee of R80 crore unviable. Interestingly, sources close to the filmmaker have attributed the failed talks to creative differences with the Pushpa 2: The Rule actor and there's no bitterness between them. Nonetheless, we think it's not a bad idea to follow up an SRK film with a Salman-starrer, no?

In these times, where social media plays a significant role in our lives, it's not surprising to see celebrities becoming targets of fake accounts and misinformation. Of late, Janhvi Kapoor has been the subject of this menace, with multiple accounts springing up in her name on the popular micro-blogging platform, X. What makes matters worse is that some of those fake accounts have also been verified with a blue tick. Addressing the confusion, the actor's spokesperson maintained, "In the digital world, it is very easy to create an account in anyone's name. This is to clarify that Janhvi Kapoor has no official account on X. Please refrain from using any information provided by these fake accounts."

It appears that Ranveer Singh isn't deterred that his period action film with Hanu-Man director Prasanth Varma was shelved. The actor has begun prep for his next, details of which are being closely guarded. Ranveer, who is known to prep intensely for his roles, is reportedly bulking up for his next. We have writer Shobhaa De to thank for this news. Alongside a picture from the unexpected encounter with the Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani (2023) actor, she wrote, "Selfie king Ranveer Singh enjoying much needed âme time' before he takes up daddy duties....and starts his next film. Oh....the fries were mine. But he said he is focusing on carbs himself. He needs to be 15 kg heavier for his latest project. Charming, natural and unfailingly polite as always (sic)." Ranveer and Deepika Padukone are set to welcome their first child soon.
Veteran singer Alka Yagnik is battling a rare hearing disorder. Recalling the alarming incident that led to the diagnosis, she shared, "A few weeks ago, as I walked out of a flight, I suddenly felt that I was not able to hear anything." Having mustered courage to break her silence, she added, "It has been diagnosed by my doctors as a rare sensory neural nerve hearing loss, due to a viral attack." Admitting that this sudden setback has caught her completely unaware, she concluded her social media post, saying, "For my fans and young colleagues, I would add a word of caution regarding exposure to loud music and headphones. One day, I wish to share the health perils of my professional life. With all your love and support. I hope to recalibrate my life and come back to you soon."
