The palpable excitement for Varun Dhawan-starrer #VD18 is about to reach its next level as Jio Studios, A for Apple Studios, and Cine1 Studios announced the title, first glimpse, and the big release date of the film, recently. The thrilling title announcement revealed an intriguing peek into the film, now titled âBaby John,' directed by A. Kaleeswaran, all set to release worldwide on 31st May 2024, which is sure to pique curiosity among audiences.
As the updates around Baby John were released, fans started reacting. Apart from netizens, Varun's âBawaal' co-star Janhvi Kapoor also reacted to the first glimpse. Janhvi, while sharing the teaser on her Instagram story, wrote, "Excuse me Baby John, what have you done to baby Varun Dhawan?". To which the Saani Kaayidham actor reacted and wrote, "Hahaa!! There is no baby @varundvn anymore! (funny emoji)".
More about Baby John: The film marks the Hindi film debut of Keerthy Suresh and also features Wamiqa Gabbi, making her silver screen debut. Apart from Varun Dhawan and Keerthy Suresh, the cast of Baby John includes Wamiqa Gabbi and Jackie Shroff. The movie, directed by Kalees and produced by Atlee and Priya Atlee's A For Apple Studios, Murad Khetani's Cine1 Studios, and Jyoti Deshpande of Jio Studios, is a remake of Atlee's 2016 film Theri, starring Vijay, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, and Amy Jackson.

On January 15, in celebration of Makar Sankranti and Pongal, the makers of the highly anticipated film shared a video giving a glimpse of the Muhurat Pooja. Varun Dhawan took to his Instagram Stories to share the video with the caption, "Vd18 Title reveal soonâ¦"
Varun Dhawan's work front: According to reports from India Today, the director of "Main Tera Hero" is 'putting together a project for his son and Janhvi Kapoor. The official confirmation for the same is yet to come. If these reports of their collaboration are true, it will mark the fourth professional collaboration between the father-son duo after "Main Tera Hero," "Judwaa 2," and "Coolie No. 1." It was earlier reported by Pinkvilla that the two are planning a film that will go on floors in April 2024.
