Amid reports that the wait for the 18-plus to get vaccinated will get longer, Janhvi Kapoor shared a snapshot of herself in a reflective mood as she reiterated the need to get the shot. The actor urged everyone above the age of 18 to get registered for the COVID-19 vaccine. Kapoor wrote, "Waiting for May 1 like..."
Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday also urged everyone to register themselves for the jab. Kartik got into Pati Patni Aur Woh mode to encourage everyone to register for Covid vaccination. He posted the trademark moustache and neatly-combed hairdo of Chintu Tyagi, his character in the 2019 comedy-drama and along with the picture, he wrote a witty message revelling in trademark humour. "When you're 45+ but hv to wait till 1st May for vaccine bcoz your wife has told the mohalla you're 41," he captioned the picture.
Kareena Kapoor Khan posted a clip from the "Tom & Jerry" cartoon series in a bid to explain to her son Taimur Ali Khan why it is essential for adults to get vaccinated for Covid-19. The actress wrote a note with the video post, too, about how she has been trying to explain the concept of vaccination to Taimur. "We don't realise that our kids are also absorbing what's going on and they are scared too. We were talking to Tim to try and explain why all the adults need to be vaccinated and I think this sums it up pretty well. It's really that simple. But like we explain to our kids, we too need to be patient and help everyone who is trying to help us -- medics, pharma, authorities and the millions of volunteers -- please register and wait for your turn. #BreakTheChain," she wrote.
Ananya Panday shared a post urging all to help anyone without internet access get registered for the COVID-19 Vaccine and also requested to take care of the cost of vaccination cost.
