Millions of hearts were broken when Irrfan Khan passed away on April 29, 2020. It was a dark day for Bollywood and his countless fans who couldn't believe that they won't be able to watch their favourite actor on the big screen anymore. Irrfan's elder son, Babil Khan, recently opened up about taking his father's legacy forward while attending the 51st edition of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI).
Talking to Bollywood Hungama, Babil said, "I have to do it the right way. I don't want to do a big movie in which I am dancing, it makes 100 crore and has no artistic value. My intention is to take his legacy forward. Not to become a star. It has to be done in the right way."
Babil added, "He creates he does not represent. When he portrays a character, it's just creation, he is not representing ideas that he has taken from someone else. He is literally creating the character. Now, that I am training as an actor, the art of representing and creating are two completely different things and I think it is difficult to obtain and master it."
Babil Khan attended IFFI 2021 with mother Sutapa Sikdar, and shared a few photos from the event. Sharing the photos, he wrote, "Beautiful catharsis at @iffigoa #IFFI2021 #iffi2021"
