Ever since the Coronavirus pandemic has begun, the one actor who has gone out of his way to help the people in dire need is Sonu Sood. It all started with the actor arranging buses to send the migrants home and multiple humanitarian activities followed later. In these last one-and-a-half years, Sood has been hailed as the Messiah of the people even though he humbly refuses to accept the honour bestowed upon him. The power of his nobility came into the picture once again when a fan travelled all the way from Hyderabad to Mumbai to meet him and that too barefoot.
The actor shared a picture with him on his Instagram account and wrote- "Venkatesh, this boy walked barefoot all the way from Hyderabad to Mumbai to meet me, despite me making efforts to arrange some sort of transportation for him to come here. He is truly inspiring and has immensely humbled me."

He was standing outside the actor's residence with a placard of the actor that read- The Real Hero Sonu Sood. Knowing the delicate situation in Mumbai amid the pandemic, the fan in question took all the precautions and could be seen wearing a mask.
Sood came out of his residence to meet and interact with him and the duo even posed for the flashbulbs.
Over these last few months, fans and the paparazzi often visit the âSimmba' actor and thank him for his selfless efforts to help people during these traumatic times. Sood could also be seen interacting with another fan.
Sood is now all set to set up as many as 18 oxygen plants across various states of India in association with Crypto Relief. He is starting this noble deed from Kurnool and Nellore, Andhra Pradesh & Mangalore, Karnataka and is going to soon set up the other oxygen plants across states like Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Telangana, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, and many others. These 18 oxygen plants will cater to almost 5,500 beds.
He said, "In the last few months we have seen that the biggest problem that we all have faced is oxygen and the unavailability of it. My team and I thought about what we should do to eradicate this oxygen problem from its roots. So, we decided that we should set up entire oxygen plants in as many places as possible."
Sonu Sood adds, "These oxygen plants would be installed mostly in hospitals where the poor people are given free treatment. With these oxygen plants being installed our aim is to ensure that not a single person in the country should die of the unavailability of a basic necessity like oxygen. Let's all come together and give a hand to the needy in these striving times."
