Birthday Chat With Celebs: I got 'nimbu-mirchi' chain and locket as a gift on my birthday, says Saiee M Manjrekar

Saiee, please tell us about your birthday plans?

It is going to be the same as every year. It will be all about having family and friends over to celebrate my birthday and also a little get together. My birthday will be all about talking, eating and movies. I need to share with you guys that I had got in my birthday with the cast and crew of my film ‘Kuch Khatta Ho Jaaye'! Oh My God! What an experience of a lifetime!

Can you recall your best childhood birthday memory?

While my father Shri Mahesh Manjrekar was shooting outside Mumbai, there was no cake shop anywhere nearby. That's when my mother got a cake paste. All of us melted it down and made a cake! The whole experience was so enriching and yummy. It will never to be forgotten.

Which has been your most memorable birthday gift and by whom?

My most memorable birthday gift has to be the ‘neembu-mirchi' chain locket. This was gifted to me from my grandmother in order to protect me from nazar (evil eyes).

Have you ever gifted anything to yourself on your birthday? If yes, then what?

Yes! I gifted myself a bag.

What is keeping you busy these days?

I am presently shooting for my film ‘Kuch Khatta Ho Jaaye'.
