She has been wearing greasepaint from a tender age and featured as a child artist in horror thriler Phoonk 2 and drama Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna to name a few.

Now a grown up girl, looking back Ahsaas Channa says this is what she had always wanted to be - an actress.

"It was like I knew I had to become an actress right from when I was in my mother's womb. I was really impressed by the industry and I knew that I had to be a part of it...in case I am not able to make it as an actress, I will become a director. I just want to be associated with the industry," she told IANS.

As a child artist she mostly played a boy in "Aryan", "My Friend Ganesha", "Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna" and "Vaastu Shastra". But has not regrets and feels those roles helped her become a better actress.

"I don't regret anything that I have done. In fact, I am really happy with my work. I am extremely proud about it," said the actress, a class eighth student.

Currenty she is seen in Nikhil Sinha's "Devon Ke Dev Mahadev", which comes on Life Ok, and said that she was keen to do a mythological show.

"I haven't done anything like this before. I love the way they dress up and talk on the show," she said.

Despite being a part of showbiz, she still gets "scared before a long scene or a stunt. "But after a while, it gets ok," she added.

What about studies?

"I make sure not to neglect my studies. I take my books along with me on the sets and try and complete my homework between shots. Also, I make sure not to get into any daily soap where I have to shoot daily," she said.

She has completed Tamil film "Appavin Meesai" and it film will release in March, she said.

"Other than that, I am just working on 'Mahadev' at the moment," she added.u00a0
