With his upcoming film, Jihad, Hyder Kazmi wants to depict the sense of brotherhood that binds Hindus and Muslims across the country. The actor-producer states that the project, starring Alfeeya, is close to his heart. "The film inculcates the love for motherland amongst today's youth," says Kazmi.
He launched the film's poster in Ayodhya. "The idea behind launching it in the birthplace of Lord Rama was to send out the message that humanity rules supreme, and that Hindus and Muslims should live in harmony." Kazmi bagged the Best Actor award at Toronto International Nollywood Film Festival for the Rakesh Parmar-directed film. The drama releases this year.
