A show set in 2031 - The brainchild of the makers of the cult films Ship of Theseus and Tumbbad, Hotstar Specials presents OK Computer is an unconventional series that focuses on the battle between ideologies as it presents a perplexing mystery. When a self-driving taxi crashes into a human pedestrian, killing him instantaneously, a vexing question presents itself to the authorities - who exactly is to blame?

It delves into a story where the investigation led by Saajan Kundu (played by Vijay Varma) discovers that this was a premeditated murder, is countered by the fierce Laksmi (played by Radhika Apte) who leads a private organization for the ethical treatment of robots - PETER and firmly believes that AI is not capable of harming humans. The series features Jackie Shroff playing the unconventional role of Pushpak who is the leader of an anti-technology and anti-science cult that raises a lot of questions and is one of the prime suspects of the murder.

Talking about his experience of playing Pushpak, Actor Jackie Shroff said, "My character Pushpak understands technology as a necessity but not at the cost of harming or disrupting the environment. Along with technology, there should be more lean towards the environment for the next generation. I was so intrigued by this role and this series, that I felt I should be wearing an outfit made of fallen leaves and flowers but the creative team suggested the part about being bare naked and I incorporated that into my character. While watching the series, I hope audiences find joy in the quirks because I have enjoyed playing this role. All the credit goes to my technicians and mainly the Directors."

Written and co-produced by Anand Gandhi and directed by Neil Pagedar and Pooja Shetty, OK Computer features an ensemble cast including Radhika Apte, Vijay Varma, Jackie Shroff, Rasika Duggal and Kani Kusruti among others. All 6 episodes of the series release on 26th March, 2021 exclusively for subscribers of Disney+ Hotstar VIP and Disney+ Hotstar Premium.
