Here's the real reason why Priyanshu said yes to ‘Rashmi Rocket’

ZEE5's Rashmi Rocket headlined by Taapsee Pannu has been receiving rave reviews and appreciation from all corners of the world. Power-packed performances by Priyanshu Painyuli & Abhishek Banerjee coupled with the ace direction of Akarsh Khurana have made this movie an absolute blockbuster! Priyanshu has been applauded for his role of an army officer in the movie, but do you know one of the most important factors on why he agreed to be a part of Rashmi Rocket? Read on!

Priyanshu shared, "My father is a Retired Col. Vinod Kumar Painyuli from Assam regiment. Growing up seeing your father serve the nation is always fascinating and inspiring. I grew up in Army school and definitely there was a wish to be in Army somewhere but I guess my love for cinema and acting took over but with Rashmi Rocket and playing the role of Capt. Gagan became very special. As it's my first portrayal of an army officer. I sent my pics from my first look test in my uniform to my dad and family and my sisters thought I looked exactly liked my dad when he was a young captain."

It's truly wonderful to know that Priyanshu got his wish of becoming an army officer fulfilled through Rashmi Rocket!

Set in the salt marshes of Kutch, ‘RASHMI ROCKET' is about a young girl from a small village, blessed with a gift. She's an incredibly fast runner who dreams of crossing the finish line. In the journey to fulfilling her dreams, she soon realizes that the race to the finish line is peppered with many hurdles, and what seems like an athletic contest turns into her personal battle for respect, honour, and even her very identity.
