Soon after she claimed she wanted Alia Bhatt or Vidya Balan to play her in her biopic, Rakhi Sawant was trolled by social media users. One user wrote, "If they [acted] in her biopic, then there will be no biopic of them." Another assumed that Sawant, known for dramatising situations to grab attention, was indeed cracking a joke. Yet another suggested that Dolly Bindra would be more suited for the part. Sawant had previously claimed in a video that did the rounds online that while she had contemplated playing the part herself, she believed either of the two actors would "excel in portraying me". "Both of them stand as paragons of talent in the Bollywood industry. I must emphasise that if Rakhi Sawant's biographical film ever sees the light of day, it will authentically depict [my] trials and tribulations."
