Urvashi Rautela, who is gearing up for her upcoming project with Telugu star Nandamuri Balakrishna, tentatively called NBK109, learned action from one of the most popular boxers in the world. The actor took lessons from Irish mixed martial artist and professional boxer, Conor McGregor. Talking about his experience working with her, he said: "The only Bollywood film person I know after Shah Rukh Khan is Urvashi Rautela. Just look at her beauty and popularity. She's an excellent and outstanding actor and an artiste. She is a shining example of beauty from India and I'm sure you'll be seeing her in more Hollywood projects soon."
With Junaid Khan currently shooting in Japan for dad Aamir Khan's production, the latter, we hear, is set to head to the country to assess the film's progress. A source close to the project shares, "After wrapping a shoot leg in Mumbai, the unit has moved to Japan to shoot the next schedule. Aamir plans to make a quick trip to Japan to see how things are shaping up." Before this offering, Junaid will make his film debut with the period drama, Maharaj.
Music composer AR Rahman said that his team took due permission to use AI software to recreate the voices of late singers Bamba Bakya and Shahul Hameed for a new track in which they have also been credited. The artistes, who had worked with Rahman on multiple projects before their deaths, are credited as playback singers in Rajinikanth's Lal Salaam. "We took permission from their families and sent deserving remuneration for using their voice algorithms. Technology is not a threat or nuisance if we use it right," shared Rahman.
Boney Kapoor's company will develop the Film City project in Noida's Sector-21, near Jewar airport, as it placed the highest bid. "We are pleased to be chosen and our goal is to develop the Film City project within a span of three years. In the initial phase, we plan to develop commercial facilities on 75 acre out of the total 230 acre," said Ashish Bhutani, Chief Executive Officer of Bhutani Group, which will jointly create it.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde announced veteran Marathi actor Ashok Saraf's selection for the Maharashtra Bhushan award, 2023. It is the highest award given by the state government. Shinde complimented the actor's versatility, and his ability to impeccably deliver both comic roles, and those of the antagonist. The actor, 76, began his career in Marathi theatre. He is known for Marathi films such as Ashi Hi Banva-Banvi, Gammat Jammat, Navari Mile Navryala, and Vajeer. He achieved fame nationally with the hit Hindi comic series, Hum Paanch, and has featured in Singham, Koyla, and Gupt, among other films.
Salman Khan and his production company have issued a statement cautioning fans as well as budding actors against "false" casting calls in their name. The banner said they haven't hired any casting agents for their future projects. "This is to clarify that neither Mr Salman Khan nor Salman Khan Films are casting for any film currently. Please do not trust any emails or messages received by you for this purpose. Legal action will be taken if any party is found falsely using Mr Khan's or SKF's name in any unauthorised manner," SKF said in the statement issued on Instagram.
