Tiger Shroff seems to have picked up some magic tricks from illusionist Ankit Verma. The actor displayed his skills by making a visiting card fly mid-air in his vanity van. While unit hands marvelled at his feat, he claimed that he could also make one of them float likewise. "Putting on a show with my Jedi mind tricks, if you guys like this one, then I will do the same with a human next time," he wrote while sharing a video of his ânew-found powers', which left several B-Town folk astonished.

Barely a month after the film went on floors, Shefali Shah has finished shooting for Darlings. The unit gave her a warm send-off by organising a wrap-up bash on the set. "Nothing prepares me for the goodbyes. Thank you for creating âher' with âme' and I'll miss you all so much," Shah said. Jasmeet K Reen's maiden directorial venture also stars Vijay Varma and Malayalam actor Roshan Mathew, who featured in Anurag Kashyap's Choked: Paisa Bolta Hai (2020). The mother-daughter saga marks Alia Bhatt's debut as a producer.
On Thursday, Kajol turned 47. While mom Tanuja and sister Tanishaa treated her to âheavenly food', busy hubby Ajay Devgn posted, "You have managed to bring a smile to my face for the longest time now. Happy birthday dearest Kajol; will try to make it as special as you are." It was also Riteish Deshmukh's baiko Genelia's big day. "There is no greater feeling than waking up every morning and seeing your face. Inching towards 20 years of being together, and feels like it was yesterday. Thank you for being the wonderful partner. You are looking younger by the day... can't say the same about me... soon people will say, âGenelia ke saath yeh uncle kaun hai?''' His trademark comic touch remained on point.
Esha Deol Taktani, who has begun work on Rudra: The Edge of Darkness, is learning to get back to the grind. She was spotted at Film City on the set of the web series. After Tell Me O Kkhuda (2011), the actor had kept herself away from the scene except for being part of short films. The hustle-bustle on the set and the call for action, she now realises, what she was missing.
Hansal Mehta's directorial venture featuring Shashi Kapoor's grandson Zahan, Paresh Rawal's son Aditya (second from left) and Jatin Sarinn has been titled Faraaz. Mehta revealed that the film is based on the Holey Artisan cafe attack in Bangladesh. It will chronicle the events that took place on the night of July 1, 2016, in Dhaka when five militants ravaged the upscale cafe and killed 22 and held several diners hostage. "It is also a deeply personal story that I've held close to my heart," informed Mehta. Kareena Kapoor Khan gave a shoutout to cousin Zahan and posted, "Super proud of you, and can't wait to see you on the big screen."
Sharad Kelkar returns as narrator for the second season of the mythological animation series, The Legend of Hanuman. "The franchise proves that animation is a wonderful medium to showcase legendary tales to viewers of all ages," says the actor. "Mythology has always been part of our culture. The new season has an important lesson about inner growth as well as choosing the path of good," adds Kelkar about the Disney+Hotstar show.

On Wednesday, Janhvi Kapoor began shooting for the remake of the Malayalam film, Helen (2019), which has been titled Mili. The thriller revolves around the mystery disappearance of a nurse. Backed by father Boney Kapoor, it is helmed by Mathukutty Xavier, who also directed the original. Hrishikesh Mukherjee's 1975 film starring Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan had the same title.
Farhan Akhtar took to social media after the Indian men's hockey team's victory over Germany and cheered for the women's squad. He wrote, "Go girls. So proud of Team India for showing exemplary fighting spirit and bringing in our fourth medal... super stuff." As soon as the actor realised his blunder, he deleted the post but not before eagle-eyed netizens made screenshots of his tweet viral and trolled him.
