Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao
Over four years since the release of Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor-starrer, Stree, the makers are said to gear up for a sequel soon. Following the runaway success of the film, producer Dinesh Vijan and director Amar Kaushik have been working towards establishing their horror comedy universe. Last year, they came out with Roohi, starring Janhvi Kapoor opposite Rajkummar. Now, we hear that Amar has finalised the screenplay for the sequel of his first horror comedy. Prep for the film, naturally titled Stree 2, will begin after the director's upcoming offering Bhediya. The plot of Bhediya revolves around Varun Dhawan's character turning into an ichhadaari werewolf after being bitten by one in the jungles of Arunachal Pradesh. The November 25 offering also stars Kriti Sanon as the vet whom he consults for his unprecedented dilemma. Interestingly, just as Shraddha has a cameo in Bhediya, Varun, too, is likely to have a pivotal part in the Stree sequel. Dinesh and Amar are looking to take the Raj-Shraddha film on floors in the first half of 2023.
Talk in the trade is that impressed by the buzz around Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan, Salman Khan is keen to work with south director Atlee. With Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan slated to completed by December, and No Entry sequel plans in limbo, Salman is looking to start another project with a director who can present him differently. However, a film with Atlee isn't likely to materialise soon. After SRK's Jawan, the director has lined up his fifth collaboration with Thalapathy Vijay.

Even as Ganapath is being readied for a release, and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan co-starring Akshay Kumar is slated to roll in early 2023, Tiger Shroff is teaming up with producer-friend Jackky Bhagnani yet again. This time around, for a mission thriller titled Hero No 1. No, it has nothing to do with David Dhawan's 1997 hit featuring Govinda and Karisma Kapoor.
Before his yet-untitled movie with director Luv Ranjan releases next summer, Ranbir Kapoor will be seen in a special song in choreographer Bosco Martis's directorial debut, Rocket Gang. The two share a deep bond having collaborated on several films, including Imtiaz Ali's Rockstar (2011) and Tamasha (2015). When the ace choreographer asked the actor if he would feature in the peppy number, Nachoge toh bachoge, his response was in immediate yes. "I am thrilled to have Ranbir as the special guest. He is a great actor and a great dancer. I have choreographed the entire song and I am really happy with the way it has turned out," enthuses Bosco, who is excited to see the audience's response as the song's teaser releases today.

Over a month ago, Ajay Devgn wrapped up the talkie portion of his next directorial venture, Bholaa. The actor-filmmaker, who had been promoting his Diwali offering, Thank God, is completing the songs and patchwork before getting busy with the release of his next, Drishyam 2. Recently, Raai Laxmi was spotted at the location where Ajay is completing the pending portions of his remake of the 2019 Tamil hit, Kaithi. Since then, talk is that Laxmi is doing a special song number in Bholaa. While there's no official confirmation of the same, it appears that Ajay wants to complete the remaining portions of the film and be through with the release of Drishyam 2 before sharing anything on his fourth directorial venture.
After the promotions of her Diwali release, Thank God, and celebrating the festival of lights with friends and family, Rakul Preet Singh has taken a week-long break. She is currently holidaying in the Maldives with producer-beau Jackky Bhagnani. While they have shared images from their getaway on social media, they haven't posted any pictures of them together. It's another thing that both have shared the same location in their respective posts and the oceanic backgrounds are a dead giveaway. Then why all this lukka-chhuppi?
Talking of Varun Dhawan, it appears that he is in for another sequel. This time around, it's the third instalment of his Dulhania franchise, co-starring Alia Bhatt. After the success of Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania (2014) and Badrinath Ki Dulhania (2017), director Shashank Khaitan and the team are keen to take the franchise ahead. However, it is still work in progress. We hear the makers are discussing ideas and will gear up once they finalise the story. Varun and Alia, who began their journey with Student Of The Year (2012), share great on-screen chemistry and are keen to collaborate again.
