Rekha makes her way back to the small screen with Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyar Meiin. The veteran actor features in the promos of the show to highlight a twist in the tale. She is seen talking about her favourite subjects - lost love and old memories - in her deep alluring voice. The buzz is that she received Rs 5 crore as appearance fees. It was shot on a set created in a hotel near her Bandra Bandstand home. She preferred to wear a saree from her personal collection, and did the make up herself. Last October, Rekha was seen introducing the characters ahead of the triangular love story's launch. The title has been derived from the Lata Mangeshkar and Kishore Kumar chartbuster in Manmohan Desai's Raampur Ka Lakshman (1972). The film starred Rekha, along with Randhir Kapoor and Shatrughan Sinha. As it is her favourite song, she had instantly given her nod and even hummed the track. The show features Neil Bhatt, Aishwarya Sharma and Ayesha Singh in pivotal roles.
On Wednesday, Alia Bhatt accompanied Neetu Kapoor to check on the construction work at Raj Krishna. The Kapoor home at Pali Hill is being rebuilt. Looks like it will take a while for them to move in as the pandemic delayed the revamp.

Ranjit M Tewari's directorial venture, also starring Huma Qureshi and Vaani Kapoor, deals with a hijack that happened during Gandhi's tenure. "I had a great time. There was a lot of homework and research that went behind it. But it was an opportunity of a lifetime that I am thankful for," said Dutta at the trailer launch in New Delhi.
