During the promotions of his upcoming film on DID L'il Masters, Ranveer Singh decided to joke around with the judges in between shots. Addressing Mouni Roy, the Jayeshbhai Jordaar actor said, "Desh mein heat wave chal raha hai. Kuchh to reham karo." When the Brahmastra actor looked flummoxed, Ranveer quipped, "If things get too hot in here, I've come prepared," and picked up a fire extinguisher. Later, he and Sonali Bendre Behl recreated a part of her hit song, Iss deewane ladke ko, from Sarfarosh, starring Aamir Khan.
Yesterday, Neetu Kapoor was spotted visiting the Krishna Raj bungalow site. The veteran actor was said to have dropped in to check the progress of the family's new home in Bandra's Pali Hill. Apparently, it will take another couple of years before they can move in. The Kapoors moved out much before construction work at the site started. Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt reside in Vastu, barely a few buildings away down the same lane.
Salman Khan will dance to Prabhudheva's tunes again. This time around with Chiranjeevi for his next Telugu film, Godfather. While the Radhe actor shot his scenes with the megastar last month at a studio in Karjat, this is a new development. S Thaman, the music composer for Godfather, shared the news. Posting a picture with Prabhudheva, Chiranjeevi and director Mohan Raja, he tweeted, "Prabhudheva will be choreographing an atom bombing swinging song for our boss Chiranjeevi and Salman Khan gaaru. This is going to light the screen afire for sure." The dates and location for the song are yet to be finalised.
Barely a few days ago, Ravi Teja was rooting for Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan as they geared up for their latest release, Acharya. Interestingly, he was teaming up with the megastar for a new project, for which he was being paid R16 crore. However, after Acharya failed to make the desired impact at the box office, the makers of Chiranjeevi's next decided to relook at the budget, and opted to cut cast instead of cost. As a result, before Ravi could begin shooting with the megastar, he is being replaced by a more reasonably priced actor, at probably less than half his fee. So much for Ravi being called a mass actor.
Mai actor Anant Vidhaat is excited about his Friday release, Mere Desh Ki Dharti. "It is my first film as the lead and I also share screen space with my friend Divyenndu, with whom I have aspired to be an actor since our college days," he says. They were part of the same dramatic society of Kirori Mal College called The Players. Anant adds, "This is one film that I will cherish for a long time."
The long Eid weekend evoked mixed emotions in Sanjay Dutt. While KGF: Chapter 2, in which he plays the antagonist Adheera, continues its hit parade, May 3 also marked the 41st death anniversary of his mother and late actor, Nargis. Sharing a collage of the yesteryear legend, he wrote, "Not a single moment goes by when I don't remember you. Ma, you were the basis of my life and the strength of my soul. I wish my wife and kids would have met you for you to give them all your love and blessings. I miss you today and every day!"
