Ever since son Aryan was arrested in a drugs bust case, Shah Rukh Khan has kept himself away from social media. While fans await his return, they were elated by wife Gauri's latest Instagram post for a brand endorsement featuring her with SRK. Several admirers dropped heart emojis, and a section of netizens referred to them as the "king and queen" and "the best couple." The superstar's legion of fans hoped that he would be back on the gram soon with an announcement about his films.
Shahid Kapoor went to his hairstylist for a trim and stepped out with his facial fuzz gone. The actor shared his new look taking fans by surprise. It's been a while since we saw Sasha clean-shaven as a beard and moustache had become integral to his persona. A section of netizens wondered what prompted him to go clean and if wife Mira Rajput had insisted that he shave. Younger brother Ishaan Khatter took a different route and teased him. Dia Mirza shared a first proper glimpse of son Avyaan Azaad in an Instagram video in which he is seen playing with a toy. The actor earlier shared photographs of her bundle of joy with his back facing the camera or a side glance. Mirza and entrepreneur husband Vaibhav Rekhi welcomed Avyaan Azaad in May last year. While announcing his birth, she informed that he was born premature and spent four months in intensive care.
Food continues to be on Kareena Kapoor Khan's mind. She shared a screenshot of her conversation with producer buddy Rhea Kapoor who is in quarantine after testing positive for COVID-19. While inquiring about her health, the actor could not resist talking about her obsession - desserts. Rhea wondered if she should order hot chocolate and whipped cream for her, but Bebo was not too keen on it. Later, Rhea suggested hot fudge sauce, vanilla ice cream and biscuits. Bebo's reply was an instant yes as it is "the best." The actor has a penchant for sinful desserts, which she can polish off within minutes.
On Friday, Bipasha Basu turned 43. The actor had a low-key celebration at home. Husband Karan Singh Grover's birthday message read, "My sweet monkey baby. You are the most awesome person I've ever known." Last year Grover was shooting for Qubool Hai 2.0 in Belgrade and could not be with wifey dearest on her big day. After posting a photograph with Ranbir Kapoor during Diwali, Alia Bhatt has finally admitted that he is her beau. She shared pictures clicked by Kapoor from their African safari to ring in 2022. "Casually flexing my boyfriend's photography skills," she captioned the post. Bhatt has always refrained from talking about Kapoor and their relationship. They have been together since 2017 after they hit it off on the set of buddy Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra. Fans are keen that he becomes Bhatt's fiancé soon.
Late music composer Aadesh Shrivastava's son Avitesh makes his acting debut with Sirf Ek Friday. He follows in the footsteps of actor mom Vijeta Pandit best remembered for Love Story (1981) starring Kumar Gaurav. Amitabh Bachchan, who was close to Shrivastava, wished him good luck. "Avitesh, your father Aadesh built some great music creativity. May you add another feather to his cap. My wishes for your launch," Big B posted. The film, a modern-day take of Dronacharya and Eklavya, is helmed by Lloyd Baptista.
Swara Bhasker, Kubbra Sait and Vishal Dadlani are the latest from B-Town to test positive for the virus. Bhasker informed that she was suffering "from a high fever, splitting headache and loss of taste." Sait has mild symptoms and is spending quarantine watching TV. Dadlani, who took utmost precautions with all the necessary protocols while shooting for Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, was taken aback by the results. "My symptoms are mild but still quite debilitating," wrote the singer-composer.
Saanand Verma, who plays Anokhelal Saxena in the comic caper, Bhabiji Ghar Pe Hai, is looking forward to his outings in the web shows, Apharan 2 and Guilty Minds, in which he plays a businessman and lawyer respectively. "The OTT platform has given a new dimension to my career. They have taken storytelling to a new level. There is more freedom of expression," says Verma, who played Purushottam Baria in Sacred Games.
