Kapil Sharma and Nandita Das
Truly, wonders never cease. Actor-filmmaker Nandita Das has cast Kapil Sharma to play a food delivery rider in her next movie, which also stars Shahana Goswami as his wife. On her choice of the lead actor, Das, who is also producing the film, with Applause Entertainment, says, "One day, Kapil Sharma popped up on my screen! I hadn't seen his show, but I could see him wholly representing the âcommon man', despite not being one anymore! I am certain he will surprise everyone, including himself, with his natural candidness." On his part, Kapil beams, "I am very excited because I'm doing Nandita Das's film, whom I have seen both as an actor and a director. My job as an actor is to just do what she tells me. Her work is very different from mine, and I am happy that the audience will get to see a new side of me." Shooting for the film, set in Bhubhaneshwar, Orissa, starts later this month.

Dharmendra, who is the special guest on India's Got Talent this weekend, will also be revisiting one of his cult classics, Sholay, for the episode. We hear that during the course of the narrative, Dhillon's character realises that the only way to achieve her goals is by resorting to unfair means.
It looks like Janhvi Kapoor, who's also a fitness enthusiast, is in no mood to take a break from her gym. Never mind if she's injured a ligament in her right arm and has been sporting a sling in the last few days. We hear the Dhadak actor goes about her exercise regime as usual while ensuring that she doesn't use her right arm, lest it slow the recovery pace.
