Kareena Kapoor Khan kick-started the week with a get-together of near and dear ones, including sister Karisma, buddies Amrita Arora Ladak, Karan Johar, Manish Malhotra and Sanjay Mishra. "It's a true-blue selfie time tonight," Malhotra captioned the pictures he posted. Lolo informed that the guests gorged on some delicious "dal gosht and kadak pav" at Bebo's home.

Caught in the Punjab drama

Archana Puran Singh and The Kapil Sharma Show grabbed attention after Navjot Singh Sidhu quit as Punjab Congress chief on Tuesday. Social media was flooded with hilarious memes about Singh being "unhappy" with his decision as her "career is in trouble now," with Sharma rolling out the red carpet to "welcome Sidhu paaji back" to the sketch comedy as presider. In 2019, Singh had replaced Sidhu on the show. Netizens also pointed out that the political drama in Punjab was proving to be as entertaining as The Kapil Sharma Show.

Birthday gift

To mark Ranbir Kapoor's 39th birthday on Tuesday, producer Yash Raj Films unveiled his look (a partial view) from Shamshera. Karan Malhotra's film also stars Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor.

On Tuesday, Sunny Kaushal turned a year older. Brother Vicky's rumoured girlfriend Katrina Kaif was among the first to wish him. She posted, "Happiest birthday... may your days be filled with sunshine, joy and love." Sunny had accompanied the lovebirds to Alibaug, where they rang in 2021.

Starry baby shower theme

Blogger-educator Palak R Chaudhary is a die-hard fan of Ayushmann Khuranna. When she was expecting baby number two, family and friends surprised her with a Khurrana-themed baby shower. The venue was full of posters of his films, and the menu had dishes named after his movie characters. She also met her cine idol just before her delivery. When Khurrana was told about it, he shared the party video on his Instagram Stories and wrote, "This is so cute." Chaudhary delivered on September 14, which is Khurrana's birthday. Eid sans Sallu

Though the date is synonymous with Salman Khan's films, Sajid Nadiadwala has booked Eid 2022 for his production, Heropanti 2. Ajay Devgn has also announced that his directorial venture, MayDay, starring Amitabh Bachchan, Rakul Preet Singh and himself, will hit screens on April 29. There has been no word on the release of Khan's Tiger 3. Now, if Sallu decides to roar on the same date, that will be another story.

South actors Arvind Swami and Kunchacko Boban, who are shooting in the city for the bilingual road movie, Ottu, visited the set of R Balki's Dulquer Salmaan-starrer. The Malayalam sensation has been shooting around Bandra for the untitled Hindi psychological thriller. Boban took a selfie and wrote, "When Ottu boys met DQ boy. Barging in on the sets of the talented R Balki sir in Mumbai. It always feels at home when you are around DQ boy and mellow man Arvind Swami chettan." While Boban and Salmaan chatted in Malayalam, Balki and Swami talked in Tamil. Unit hands wondered if they were on the set of a South flick.

Shraddha marks aaji's big day

Shraddha Kapoor celebrated Lata Mangeshkar's 92nd birthday on Tuesday by sharing a throwback photograph with family, including mother Shivangi, and aunts Padmini and Tejaswini Kolhapure. Kapoor captioned the picture, "Happy birthday, aaji." The actor's late maternal grandfather, Pandit Pandharinath Kolhapure, was cousin to Mangeshkar.

Curtain call

The trailer of the fourth and final season of the web series, Little Things, was unveiled on Tuesday. The romantic comedy, starring Mithila Palkar and Dhruv Sehgal, explores the ups and downs of new-age relationships. Palkar posted the first look of the Netflix show and said, "We are ready to unfurl the last page of the adventures of Kavu and Momo. Hope it makes your heart smile. Jald milenge, for season four on October 15."
