The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) issued an apology to actor-dancer Sudhaa Chandran after she complained that it is traumatic when asked to remove her prosthetic foot every time by the airport personnel. In a bid to make people aware of the dignity the differently-abled deserve, she said, "This is an appeal to the central and the state governments. I have danced with a prosthetic foot and created history, and made my country proud. On Friday, the CISF responded on Twitter. "We are sorry for the inconvenience caused. As per protocol, it is removed only under exceptional circumstances. We will examine why the lady personnel concerned requested Sudhaa Chandran to do so. We assure that all our personnel will be sensitised again so that passengers do not face inconvenience," the post read.
