Shah Rukh Khan
On Tuesday, Shah Rukh Khan clocked 56 years. In a break from tradition due to son Aryan's drugs case, the superstar did not cut his birthday cake with media and fans this year. Nor did he climb atop Mannat's facade to greet the sea of well-wishers. Though fans had been milling around his Bandra Bandstand home since midnight to ring in the superstar's birthday, they were told by cops not to crowd the venue. Police officials said that Shah Rukh and family had made their way to their Alibaug farmhouse for a quiet celebration. There was talk that SRK was keen that Aryan spend time away from the city after his release from jail. It may have been a quiet birthday for King Khan, but industry colleagues showered him with love on social media. Buddy Karan Johar wrote, "I met him on the set of Karan Arjun [1995] for the first time. I tagged along with my father to hang out with Kajol not realising I was going to meet a man who would go on to shape my life, career and my being ... a loving brother and an indispensable friend."
