Ranbir Kapoor with Alia Bhatt
Although there is no official confirmation yet, it appears that Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have locked April 13 to April 17 for their wedding celebrations. The mehndi and sangeet functions will also be scheduled during this period. The Kapoors and the Bhatts have apparently asked their closest friends to keep the dates free to join in the revelry. Manish Malhotra and Sabyasachi Mukherjee are said to be creating Alia's wedding outfits, while Ranbir has entrusted his designer Samidha Wangnoo to style him for the big day. The family's RK House in Chembur has been chosen as the venue because the Shamshera actor wanted to get married there like his parents. Interestingly, he will also be hosting a bachelor's party for his close friends from within and outside the film industry. Ayan Mukerji, Aditya Roy Kapur and Arjun Kapoor, who are his closest buddies in B-Town, are said to have confirmed their presence for the party. They will also host a reception for their industry friends later this month.
Having taken over Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali from Sajid Nadiadwala, Salman Khan is not wasting any time in taking the film on the floors. The actor-producer is having a new set built at ND Studios in Karjat. Salman has reportedly chosen this venue as it's closer to his farmhouse and he doesn't want to take any chances in meeting the December 30 date with cinemas this year. Apart from this, everything else - from the crew to the cast and the schedules - remains unchanged. Pooja Hegde and Venkatesh are already on board and actors from other industries are expected to be signed on for this Farhad Samji directorial venture.
