While Shah Rukh Khan is glued to the phone to keep abreast of the latest developments in son Aryan's case, fans have been putting up posters outside his Bandra home.

The area surrounding Mannat is full of messages from admirers expressing their unconditional love for the superstar. "Fans from every corner of the world love you deeply.

We stand with you in these testing times. Take care, king," read a placard. Fan groups also expressed solidarity with the cine idol on social media. SRK had once famously said that he considers fans as friends with limitless love for him.

Animal farm

Rakul Preet Singh, who balances her Bollywood commitments with her South projects, has a Telugu film, Konda Polam, lined up for release. She plays a shepherdess in Krish Jagarlamudi's film, shot in the Ananthagiri hills in Telangana. It was a unique experience for the actor to shoot with goats and sheep. She also learnt the local dialect. The thriller, an adaptation of Sanapureddy Venkatarami Reddy's novel, takes a look at the adventures of a shepherd community in the forest.

Thanks, but no thanks

Tillotama Shome finds herself getting offers to be part of commercials for corporate bigwigs, working on a tight budget. The actor, who does not mince her words, is far from amused by such calls. "A humble request to ad filmmakers to not come to me with low/no-budget TVCs for big corporations that want a palate cleanser and conscience-clearing CSR film with a social cause, especially when you never come to me with ads that have a good budget. My conscience is clear. Thanks," she posted. Her message was loud and clear to ad folk who otherwise do not approach her for endorsements. Shome can be funny, but she's also smart.

Ash for a cause

After attending the Paris Fashion Week, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan winged her way to Dubai to spearhead a campaign against street harassment. "We cannot accept raising our daughters in a world where people witness this unacceptable behaviour and look away as they do not know what to do," she said while taking the stage at the Dubai Expo's amphitheatre. The actor's endeavour is part of a brand endorsement deal. It has tied up with an NGO to make public spaces safer for women.

Considering Kangana Ranaut is interested in politics, the upcoming by-poll in the actor's hometown, Mandi, had fuelled speculation that the BJP would field her from the parliamentary seat. But political bigwigs in Himachal Pradesh have declared that the ticket will be given to a party worker and not a celebrity. Guess the actor will have to wait her turn to enter the electoral fray.

Mira Kapoor posted yet another glimpse of their under-construction home in a Worli high-rise. Sharing the picture on her Instagram Stories, she wrote, "One step at a time." It appears that Shahid Kapoor had a lot to say about the staircase that connects the duplex flat. Mira tagged interior designer Annkur Khosla to give a hint about who is doing up their dream abode. The couple, who live in Juhu, bought the apartment in 2018.

On Wednesday, Sunny Singh celebrated his birthday with Adipurush co-star Prabhas and director Om Raut. The South star made his big day extra special by sharing that "he had a good time on the set with his bro." Prabhas is known to mark the birthdays of co-actors and unit folk with great fanfare. He turns 42 on October 23. Singh is already planning on making the Baahubali sensation's big day a date to remember.

Digital route yet again

After Mimi, Kriti Sanon's next, Hum Do Hamare Do, will also release digitally. Abhishek Jain's directorial venture, co-starring Rajkummar Rao, is slated to release later this month. The film revolves around a couple who ‘adopt' their parents. On Wednesday, the teaser of the social comedy, which drops on Disney+Hotstar, was unveiled. The film's producer Dinesh Vijan is a frequent collaborator with Sanon.
