The Dhawans are gearing up to welcome their new family member. No, Varun Dhawan and wife Natasha Dalal are not expecting, but his director-brother Rohit and wife Jaanvi certainly are! Natasha recently hosted the baby shower for her âbhabhi' in Alibaug. It was attended by Anshula Kapoor, and their friends. White balloons and flowers dominated the décor at the venue. Rohit and Jaanvi already have a daughter, Niyara, who was born in 2018. The director is currently working on his next, Shehzada, with Kartik Aaryan. It is a remake of Allu Arjun's Telugu hit, Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo.

Huma Qureshi recently wrapped up the shoot of her second outing as Bihar Chief Minister, Rani Bharti, for the web series, Maharani. Though the last schedule in Jammu was a short one, we hear the location was integral to the narrative. Apart from shooting in Jammu, the actor also had a great time soaking in the sights of the "beautiful and gorgeous" region. She promises that the political thriller gets "bigger, with lots of twists and turns." Huma, who's "elated" with the shoot, is eagerly waiting to share the second season of her political rigmarole.
Talk in trade circles is that another Janhvi Kapoor film is headed for a web release. After her debut film, Dhadak, the only other theatrical release that she has had is Roohi. Her subsequent offerings, Ghost Stories and Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl opted for a digital release. Now, it seems like her next, Good Luck Jerry, is heading online too. Apparently, Aanand L Rai, who is producing this Hindi adaptation of the Tamil hit, Kolamavu Kokila, starring Nayanthara, has apparently got a lucrative offer to première on an OTT platform. The filmmaker is expected to finalise the deal in the next few days.
After a hat-trick with Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein, Looop Lapeta and Ranjish Hi Sahi, Tahir Raj Bhasin has taken off for his next assignment. However, he's not revealing anything about his new project. Apparently, he has been quietly prepping for it, and all that he has revealed so far is that he is "starting something really, really exciting!" Taking to social media to share a picture of the bound script from the flight, he wrote: "#SecretProject to be announced soon!" An insider says it's a hush-hush project that will be launched in a big way.
Mahima Makwana, who made her film debut in the Salman Khan production, Antim - The Final Truth, seems to be making wise career decisions. After portraying the part of a small-town girl in the film that also featured Aayush Sharma, the actor has transformed herself by sporting a new look. After playing an antagonist in The Family Man season 2, Samantha is gearing up for more action in her next. Yashoda, the actor's latest project, will see her perform high-octane stunts, and she's raring to go. Interestingly, Sam is collaborating with Hollywood stuntman Yannick Ben yet again. The duo previously collaborated on the spy thriller, starring Manoj Bajpayee. The actor, who plays the titular role in Yashoda, has already impressed Ben with her daredevilry.
Like the rest of the world, Ram Charan is also concerned about the ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine. Charan is personally invested, since his security guard is based in the country that is facing an unprecedented crisis. He also learnt that his guard's 85-year-old father has been walking around the streets with a gun, ever since the war broke out. Since there isn't much that he can do, the RRR actor has said that he is providing financial help to his guard to tide over the situation. "None of us deserve to go through this. I hope peace is restored soon," he said.
Bharti Singh is gearing up for her new role - that of a mother. The comedienne, who is expecting her first child with her producer-husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa, shared pictures from a recent photoshoot, on social media. Dressed in a mauve gown, she is seen flaunting her baby bump in the images, which are captioned, "Aane wale baby ki mummy (sic)," with a heart emoji. More power to her!
