Another holiday together

It appears that Aditya Roy Kapur and Ananya Panday have taken off for another holiday together. The rumoured couple were spotted at the Mumbai international airport yesterday. It is another thing that they arrived separately and didn't pose for any pictures saath-saath. Industry sources claim that the duo, who went to Spain and Portugal for a vacay last month, are headed for another chhutti together. Ananya asked the paparazzi if they had seen her latest release, Dream Girl 2. Interestingly, Aditya, who attended the special screening of the comedy last week, praised it, saying, "It was first class, hit hai." Later, when Ananya arrived at the venue and was requested for pictures with him, she couldn't help blushing. Pyaar kiya toh sharmana kya, no?

Uh o! Those who were hoping to see Alia Bhatt team up with Ranbir Kapoor on screen again after Brahmāstra: Part One - Shiva are in for a disappointment. The actor, who recently won the National Award for her performance in Gangubai Kathiawadi, won't be playing Sita in Nitesh Tiwari's adaptation of the Ramayan. While Ranbir is in talks to play Lord Ram and Yash has done the look test for the role of the demon king, Raavan, Alia is said to have excused herself out of the magnum opus citing date issues.

Apparently, Nitesh is planning to take his project on floors in mid 2024, and that's why Alia can't commit the required timelines. She is slated to begin Vasan Bala's prison break thriller early September, after which she will get busy with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Baiju Bawra with Ranveer Singh. After wrapping up the period drama, she will begin prep for YRF's new spy thriller, which rolls later next year. As a result of her packed schedule, she has no time for a screen reunion with her actor-hubby.

Reality bites

Regina Cassandra and Nawazuddin Siddiqui are teaming up for director Rashik Khan's Section 108. Presented by Anees Bazmee, the film is based on one of the biggest scams of the country. Regina plays Shikha, an insurance investigating officer, while his part is being kept under wraps. She is excited to be a part of this movie because it also offers her a complex and challenging character to portray, besides being based on true incidents. The yet-untitled film is slated to go on floors in the coming weeks.

Actions speak louder than words could well be Arjun Kapoor's mantra. He was recently linked with content creator Kusha Kapila. While she rubbished the rumours, he preferred to take lady love Malaika Arora for lunch last afternoon. The rains didn't dampen their spirits as the couple stepped out of their car walked into the restaurant. Earlier too, Arjun ignored rumours of a split with Malaika when he reacted to her social media post about her pet on International dogs Day, commenting, "The real star of your life, ‘Casper' and ‘handsome boy'."

The kids were in for a surprise when Abhishek Bachchan and Saiyami Kher dropped by to talk about movies, sports, dreams and life.
