Aditya Roy Kapur is gearing up for his first musical venture. The lockdown provided him with the perfect opportunity to be fully immersed in it. He has even built a makeshift recording studio at his home. Kapur has been sharing cryptic posts to drop hints about his upcoming project. "Coming soon... boys and girls," he wrote. It is said that he initially wanted to be a composer. He began his career as a VJ on a music channel and has played a musician in London Dreams (2009) and Aashiqui 2 (2013). Kapur, who calls music his first love, prefers to be guarded about the project for now.

On Monday, Shah Rukh Khan went down memory lane to mark 19 years since the release of Devdas. The superstar revealed that throughout the shoot of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's period drama he faced a major issue with his costume. "The dhoti kept falling off," he wrote. SRK added that he managed the late-night and early morning shooting schedules because of "the gorgeous Madhuri Dixit, the stunning Aishwarya Rai, the ever cheerful Jackie Shroff, the full-of-life Kirron Kher and the whole team slogging under the masterful Bhansali." Devdas premiered at the 2002 Cannes Film Festival and bagged five National Film Awards.
Esha Deol Takhtani is the latest actor to turn producer. On Monday, she announced her first venture, Ek Duaa, which will be helmed by Ram Kamal Mukherjee. Along with businessman husband, Bharat Takhtani, the actor has floated the banner, Bharat Esha Films. When she was approached for Ek Duaa, Deol felt "a deep connection with the script," which made her associate with it as an actor as well as a producer. "It opened the doors for Bharat and me to start another innings as partners," said Deol.

Delnaaz Irani features in child actor-turned-director Ali Haji's short film, Will You Be My Girlfriend? Haji is best remembered for playing Kajol and Aamir Khan's son in Fanaa (2006), and Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukerji's child in Ta Ra Rum Pum (2007). Irani took on the offer as she was keen to get back to work after the pandemic. "We have to restart our lives at some point. The cast and crew consisted of youngsters. I was the only âveteran' on the set," says Irani, who plays a mother in the love saga.
