Actress Deepika Padukone who turns 37 on January 5 has an exciting list of upcoming films in 2023. Here's looking at what to expect!
Pathaan
Pathaan starring Shah Rukh Khan, John Abraham, and Deepika Padukone is all set to hit the theatres on January 25. Shah Rukh portrays a gun-toting spy with a license to kill in the action-thriller film. The visually spectacular Yash Raj Films' action extravaganza, Pathaan, is part of Aditya Chopra's ambitious spy universe. The revolves around a RAW Agent codenamed Pathaan, who takes on a villain who is hell-bent on ripping apart India's security apparatus. The movie also features Salman Khan in a cameo appearance.
Singham Again

Rohit Shetty is all set to introduce a female cop in his cop universe with the entry of Deepika Padukone. The Singham series headlined by Ajay Devgn will now see Deepika in a cop avatar as well. The film is set to go on floors in mid-2023. This is the first time that Ajay Devgn and Deepika Padukone will be sharing screen.
Project K
Prabhas's upcoming movie Project K, also features Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Pawan Kalyan and other big stars. The film is directed by Nag Ashwin. This Sci-if thriller with a budget of around Rs 500 crores, is said to be one of the highest-budgeted movies ever in Indian cinema.
Besides these films, look forward to Deepika starting 2024 with a bang. Fighter also featuring Hrithik Roshan and Anil Kapoor is set to release on the 25th January 2024. The film is touted to be India's first every aerial action drama and is going to be directed by Siddharth Anand.
