Ganesh Chaturthi is one of the most widely celebrated festivals in India. As September 19th marked the first day of this 10-day-long festival, we witnessed some celebrities bringing the Ganesha Idol to their homes, while others visited Ganpati pandals.
Today, on the auspicious day of Ganesh Isthapna, Shah Rukh Khan welcomed Bappa home. Sharing a picture of the Ganpati idol, he wrote, "Welcome home Ganpati Bappa Ji. Wishing you and your family a wonderful day honoring Lord Ganesha. May Lord Ganesha bless all of us with happiness, wisdom, good health and lots of Modak to eat (sic)."
