Ajay Devgn in `Bhuj: The Pride of India`
The Hindi film industry is slowly getting back on its feet with studios resuming work on their projects. Ajay Devgn is the latest actor who is set-bound to give the finishing touches to his pending project. The actor will resume shooting for Bhuj: The Pride of India on Monday at Film City in Goregaon, where a set has been erected.

"A major portion of the war drama, including the climax, was filmed in Hyderabad last year. Now, only a few action sequences are remaining. Director Abhishek Dudhaiya, with the help of a lean team, will shoot the scenes with Ajay, following which he can call it a wrap on his ambitious project. If all goes as per plan, the work will be completed in two days," reveals a source.

Bhuj: The Pride of India, which also features Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, Nora Fatehi and Ammy Virk, is set during the 1971 India-Pakistan war and traces how 300 women from a village in Gujarat helped the Indian Air Force reconstruct the airbase that was destroyed in the bombings. Devgn plays the role of IAF squadron leader Vijay Karnik. mid-day reached out to Devgn's team who confirmed the news.
