Exclusive! Sanya Malhotra: I have always looked out for roles that take me to their universe

Sanya Malhotra has her next release ‘Meenakshi Sunderashwar' opposite Abhimanyu Dassani releasing soon and Love Hostel with Vikrant Massey and HIIT with Rajkummar Rao in the pipeline. The actress is also reportedly a part of the cast of Atlee's next with Shah Rukh Khan.

When quizzed about her line-up, Sanya Malhotra told mid-day.com, "As an actor I've always looked for films that take me to their universe and the character needs to be unique from what I have done before. The films that I am a part of currently are exactly like that - very different and diverse in their manner. That's how I'd like to approach it and very excited for each of them. I'm getting opportunities to work with so many talented directors and actors. All these stories are so distinct and special in their own way, that's what I have always wanted to do as an actor - do something different from my past work. I have always looked for stories/scripts that connect with me on various levels. Be it Meenakshi Sundareshwar, Love Hostel or HIIT, all these are different from each other and I'm extremely excited for each of them!"

The actress was last seen in Pagglait that released on OTT in March this year.
