Omung Kumar's 'Bhoomi,' Sanjay Dutt's grand comeback vehicle, is a few days away, and has generated enough curiosity. The film becomes special, as it's his first film after the long sabbatical.

'Bhoomi' is an emotional and sensitive revenge drama that explores the relationship between a father and daughter.

Playing the role of Sanjay Dutt's daughter is the gorgeous and petite Aditi Rao Hydari.

Talking exclusively to mid-day, Aditi Rao Hydari and director Omung Kumar shared their experience working with Sanjay Dutt.

When asked about it, the actress said, "I was sitting quietly on the sets and Omung Kumar sir said that the immediate bond between a father and a daughter should be shown. And I said once the camera switches on, I'll be fine. Sanju sir was sitting right there, he looked up and said not just when the camera is on and gave me a really big hug. That was really a 'jaadu ki jhappi.' After that, I was totally fine, and I didn't have any pre-conceived notions about Sanju sir as an actor or a person."

Further questioned if she was ever intimidated by him, to which, Aditi asserted, "It's just that his personality when he walks into the room, is an imposing personality. Behind that big personality is a teddy bear. He's really sweet. He's so much fun. I used to call him the Big Friendly Giant."

Now, how did Sanjay Dutt come on board for this film?

Answering this question, Kumar divulged, "We'd gone to Baba (Sanjay Dutt) to show him Sarbjit's trailer, and we also narrated him the story of Bhoomi. After that, he pushed everything aside and said, 'this is the film I want to do. This will be my comeback film.' For me, it was a dream come true moment."

"Subconsciously, he had it in his mind that he has to play his age now. So, if there's action, then how will it be? When the actor trusts you so much," added Omung.
