However, if you aren't aware, Tiger 3 was not directed by Kabir Khan, who directed both Ek Tha Tiger and Tiger Zinda Hai. While talking about not directing Tiger 3 and still being nervous about the release to News 18, Kabir Khan said, "There is always a sense of being a part of the endeavour as I created Tiger (the character) with Ek Tha Tiger (2012) so there is a special connection with this franchise."
"It's been more than a decade and I have been super proud of it. Tiger 3 is releasing soon and despite it not being my film, I am still super nervous (smiles) as I am really curious to know what the story will be all about. I am waiting for it to release and I plan to see it only on the big screen cheering and whistling with the audience. Yash Raj Films is like home for me and I am keeping my fingers crossed and wishing all the success to the entire team," Khan added.
On the work front, Kabir Khan is now directing Chandu Champion starring Kartik Aaryan in the lead. Stay tuned to Midday for more.
