Sunny Singh caught up with mid-day.com to discuss all things Diwali! Read on to find out what his plans are and which sweets he is binging on!
Your plans this year?
My plan is to work really hard everyday and looking forward to working in great films, looking forward to one of my closest and best film - 'Adipurush' along with other films. This year end is all going to be about Adipurush. There are plans to go on a vacation with my family and celebrate Diwali and New Year's with my family and my 'Adipurush' family.

There is no particular part, I love this festival as the whole because I get to meet my cousins and visit their homes, talk, play cards, dance and eat meetha, that's a lot of fun. Plus, the whole city is light up.
Favourite homemade sweets?
I love mawa cake, my favourite is 'chakli' since I was a child, love it the most!

What have you shopped for?
For shopping I don't need a particular occasion, I shop every second day. I have 2-3 favourite Brands - Off White, Gucci, Amiri and Diesel, I love wearing them. Shopping is a must and the best part is shopping for shoes and denims/baggie pants. I also shop a lot for my family, I get gifts for them.
Favourite Diwali tradition?
My family is spread across different parts of the city and country, so we come together to perform a pooja during this festival. That's the start of my Diwali. Another tradition is watching something together on TV with the family at home in the evening. Also, it's a festival, where I don't have to follow a diet and I can have cheat meals and eat as much as sweets I want.
Favourite Diwali song or movie?
For some reason, Shah Rukh sir's song from 'Om Shanti Om' always comes to my mind, because the entire star cast and crew of the film shot the song. This is more like a festival song for me. Also, that film is very close to my heart. Since my childhood, I remember, watching Shah Rukh sir's movies and just being in the awe of him.
