Deepshikha Deshmukh and Aleya Sen are excited about their latest film, Dil Juunglee, which they have produced and directed, respectively. Starring Taapsee Pannu and Saqib Saleem, the film hits screens today. "Many women have made a mark as actors, producers and directors in the Hindi film industry because of their talent and ambition. Today, the film sets have a lot more women than the years gone by and we are so proud," says Deshmukh, adding, "I was elated to work with Aleya. She's excellent at what she does." Being a female director was no mean feat for Sen.

"It involves a lot of hard work, passion, knowledge and sacrifice. That's what makes me a filmmaker. My greatest learning has been to make my voice heard by defying gender discrimination. The compliments I received while shooting on international shores and managing a crew of 200 people motivated me. I didn't get affected by comments regarding my gender, because frankly, Bollywood is purely driven by talent, passion and hard work," she says.
