Food seems to be on the mind of several Bollywood folk going by their latest social media posts. Ileana D'Cruz's mother baked Portuguese bread for her dear Lani (that's what her mom calls her). Though the actor avoids carbohydrates as part of her fitness routine, there was no way she could refuse the fresh-from-the-oven delight - it's her comfort food.

All things hot and spicy

Deepika Padukone shared an Instagram video revealing what reminds her of home. "My go-to comfort food is homemade South Indian fare. I love rice and rasam," she said. Padukone makes sure her kitchen is well stocked with regular supplies of the masalas from hometown Bengaluru.

Ananya Panday and Parineeti Chopra also disclosed about their favourite food in the comments section of the post. Panday wrote, "Ur house South Indian food is my comfort food also yum to another level" with a heart-eyed emoticon. To which Padukone replied, "Chal Aaja! (Come on!)@ananyapanday," with a red heart emoticon.

That reminded us of Ananya's Instagram post, a few months ago, where the actress shared a picture with her 'bae' - Burger!

Parineeti Chopra also commented "PIZZZAAAAAAAAA," in the comments section of Deepika's post.

Fried and tested

Alia Bhatt loves to indulge in French fries to pep up her mood. "There is nothing that a French fry can't fix," wrote the actor while tucking into a plateful. Bhatt's post sent several B-Town folk, including Arjun Kapoor, Malaika Arora, Angad Bedi, Dia Mirza and Abhishek Bachchan agree that there is no better comfort food - munching fries soothes your soul and relaxes your strained nerves.
