The Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Covid Care Facility, a 400-bed hospital in Delhi, was inaugurated yesterday. Manjinder Singh Sirsa, president, Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee, reveals that Amitabh Bachchan and Rohit Shetty played an integral role in having the facility up and running.

"As soon as Bachchanji learnt of our plan, he transferred Rs 2 crore to our account. It was a silent gesture, and it took us five days to realise that Bachchanji was the donor. He is also providing oxygen concentrators," says Sirsa. Shetty too contributed generously to the cause. "He didn't want his identity to be revealed. But the public should know of one's good deeds."
