'Choli tightly band le': 'The Crew' ladies Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu, and Kriti Sanon are ready for take off

Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kriti Sanon and Tabu are all ready for take-off. The makers of the movie 'The Crew' today announced the release date of the film with a fun teaser video. Scheduled to release in theatres on March 29, the film has been directed by Rajesh Krishnan.

The teaser of 'The Crew' opens with a flight announcement by the Pilot. With the song 'Choli Ke Piche Kya Hai' playing in the background, the captain of the flight announces that the plane is ready to take off. "Choli ko tightly band le taaki dil bahar na gir jaaye," says the captain after promising that The Crew will take good care of them. This is followed by the leading ladies walking inside the airport in a red uniform.

Sharing the teaser, Kareena Kapoor Khan wrote, "Buckle up, get your popcorn ready, and get ready to be served. #TheCrew releasing in theaters this March"

'The Crew' also stars Diljit Dosanjh in a pivotal role with Kapil Sharma, and Anil Kapoor in a special appearance.

Ever since the film was announced, fans have been eagerly waiting to watch an all-female cast leading the project. This also marks the collaboration between Ektaa R Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor, following their successful film, 'Veere Di Wedding.'

'The Crew' is one of the most ambitious projects of Ektaa R Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor. It was shot in Mumbai and Abu Dhabi.

The announcement for the film was made in November 2022. The makers dropped stunning pictures from a photoshoot of the leading ladies. Sharing the result of the photoshoot and announcing the film, Rhea Kapoor wrote on Instagram, "After three years of dreaming, writing, planning I present to you with @ektarkapoor on the November Cover of @vogueindia our ‘dream cast' which is now a reality. ‘The Crew' starring @tabutiful @kareenakapoorkhan and @kritisanon starts shoot February 2023. Directed by @rajoosworld written by @nidsmehra and Mehul Suri."

The story follows three women who work and hustle to move on with life. But as they try to make their way forward, their destinies lead them to some unexpected and unwarranted situations, leading them to get caught in a web of lies. Directed by Rajesh Krishnan, 'The Crew' is set to be a major release for Balaji Telefilms and Anil Kapoor Films Communication Network, scheduled for March 29, 2024.
