Her pursuit for novel stories and ability to find undiscovered talent has made Guneet Monga one of the most unique voices in Bollywood. Over the past many years, the producer has put her might behind gems such as The Lunchbox (2013), Masaan (2015), Soorarai Pottru (2020) and Pagglait (2021). Given her sharp eye for content, she has now been selected as a jury member for the prestigious Asia Pacific Screen Awards 2022.

On the judges' panel, the producer will be joined by Egyptian screenwriter Mohamed Hefzy, Turkish-German actor-director Numan Acar, Australian filmmaker Sophie Hyde, and acclaimed Sri Lankan filmmaker Vimukthi Jayasundara. Monga is naturally elated about her new role. "I'm grateful to the members of the Asia Pacific Screen Academy to have made me a part of the jury for 2022. Indian cinema is known to churn out high-quality films and stories, and I'm glad to be a representative of that on the global [stage]," she beams. The award ceremony will take place on November 11.
