Rajkummar Rao
Rajkummar Rao has been bulking up for Badhaai Do. If the picture he shared from a gruelling weight-lifting session is any indication, he has been working out in the right direction. The actor has been training for over a month for Harshavardhan Kulkarni's film, co-starring Bhumi Pednekar.
He started off prepping for the character's look in November 2020. Rao shared a picture of him in a gym and wrote alongside, "New role, new prep"

A month later, Rajkummar treated fans to his stunning photo, showcasing his chiselled physique. He penned a thoughtful caption which read, "Bachpan me suna tha mehnat ka fal meetha hota hai or fal jitna meetha khana hai, mehnat utni hi krni hoti hai. #BeMehnati" (I heard as a child that hard work bears sweet fruits and the sweeter you want the fruits to be, harder you'd have to work. #BeHardworking)"
A few weeks on, Rajkummar shared another snap on Instagram, in which he soared temperature with his toned built. Rao was seen sporting a shirtless look, which was captured in the gym. His perfectly shaped upper body and toned shoulders, were visible in the picture. Rao yet again penned a creative caption which read, "#WorkInProgress #NEWTAN (new body) To get a new look for a new character, need to get a new body and a new mindset. #BadhaiDo #Bemehnati (be hard-working)."
At this rate, his bulging biceps will provide tough competition to John Abraham and Tiger Shroff's now-famous taut muscles. Rao is keen to surprise the audience with his ripped look.
Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar kick-started the shooting of Badhaai Do in the first week of January, 2021. Badhaai Do is the second instalment of the superhit flick 'Badhaai Ho', which saw Ayushmann Khurrana and Neena Gupta in the lead roles. While Rao plays the role of a cop in the second instalment, Pednekar will be seen playing a PT teacher with big dreams in the Harshavardhan Kulkarni directorial.
