A biopic on Subrata Roy, chairman of Sahara India Pariwar, is in the works. On Friday, the makers of the film released a statement, which read, "Film on business tycoon Subrata Roy to be officially announced on his 73rd birthday on June 10, 2021. More details are under wraps for now."

Last year, the Sahara India Pariwar had objected to the Netflix series, Bad Boy Billionaires: India, which featured Roy, claiming the docu-series was "incorrect and depicted through disgruntled people who hold personal grudges against the company." Meanwhile, Roy, who is currently out on parole since 2016, stayed in Tihar jail for over two years. The Supreme Court in 2012 had ruled that Sahara group companies violated securities laws and illegally raised over USD 3.5 billion.

The making of an epic score

Music composers Sachet-Parampara are spending the lockdown working on the music of the Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan-starrer Adipurush. Word is that the husband and wife duo are brainstorming with director Om Raut for a mix of a classical and devotional score for the mythological film. Sachet-Parampara are collaborating for a Prabhas-starrer again after the multilingual Saaho (2019).

Ever since the composer duo, Sachet and Parampara Tandon started making reels for Instagram, original mixes for their social media and even their daily banter, they have become a household name, and each asset has resulted in a viral effect. The song crossed 20 million views on Instagram in 7 days with over 20,000 reels. Their latest original mix called "Meera K Prabhu," crossed over 20 million views in a span of 7 days. Not only this, over 20,000 reels were made on Instagram using this song, and the positive reviews and comments have been non stop since the song was uploaded. Sachet and Parampara have been busy compiling such songs, spending time with each other and keeping audiences thoroughly entertained through these trying times.
