Atif Aslam
In the recent past, fans have been throwing stuffs like cellphones, roses, ashes, drinks at artists during their performance on stage. Recently, Pakistani singer Atif Aslam was on the receiving end of unruly fan behaviour. A person from the crowd threw cash at the singer mid-performance in the USA. However, it is Atif's quick reaction to the incident that won hearts.
After a person threw money at him, Atif Aslam paused the performance for a couple of minutes. He then called the person up to the stage and said, "My friend, Donate this money, don't throw it at me, this is just disrespect to the money."
The video soon made its way to social media with netizens appreciating the way the singer handled the situation. Fellow singer Aagha Ali also lauded Atif Aslam, and wrote, "My heart screams âLegend Legend Legend'. And he is so evidently a legend for many reasons. May Allah SWT bless you even more man. Loads of love."
"I love how he refuses to even touch the money," wrote another fan on X reacting to the incident.

A similar incident happened with Indian singer Arijit Singh a while ago. A fan threw notes in excitement as he sung 'Gerua' from Shah Rukh Khan's film 'Diwale'. The singer placed his guitar on the floor and started collecting the money on the floor. He was reportedly concerned about stepping on them during his performance. While a bouncer tried taking the notes, he refused to hand it over and, instead, gave it back to the audience respectfully. He further said, "You should not waste money. Take your money."
Meanwhile, Atif Aslam is celebrating his 20 years as a professional singer in the music industry. As part of the celebration, he is currently touring in North America. 'Kalyug', 'Race', 'Bas Ek Pal', 'Tiger Zinda Hai', and 'Baaghi 2' are a few Bollywood films that featured songs sung by Atif before Pakistani artists were banned from performing in India. But the Bombay High Court recently rejected a petition seeking the ban, effectively allowing Pakistani performers to ply their trade in India once again.
