Article 370 face no ban in Gulf countries, says reports
Yami Gautam's film 'Article 370' has opened with a roaring response in cinemas. The film made waves across the nation, thanks to Yami Gautam's brilliant performance in the character of Zooni Haksar. Besides this, the film's box office numbers are also making an impact. According to reports, the film has collected around Rs 29.05 crores in just four days since its release.
Now, reports from ANI suggest good news for Yami Gautam's starrer. According to sources, 'Article 370' does not face any ban in Gulf countries. Sources further added that in certain Gulf countries, the film awaits certification.
Earlier, a release from the public relations team of the film had claimed that the movie was banned in Gulf countries. The high-octane action political drama, headlined by Yami Gautam and directed by National Award-winner Aditya Suhas Jambhale, is produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Aditya Dhar, and Lokesh Dhar. 'Article 370' was released in cinemas on February 23.
In the film, Yami Gautam plays intelligence officer Zooni Haksar. Set against the backdrop of Jammu and Kashmir, the film is based on the landmark revocation of Article 370, which gave special status to the erstwhile state. On August 5, 2019, the Union Government revoked Article 370.

Talking about 'Article 370,' Yami Gautam earlier said, "'Article 370' is a bold chapter of India's history. A political-action-drama inspired by true events, which will show an in-depth portrayal of how intelligence and politics work hand in hand to make some of the most important decisions that change the course for a nation."
Today, Yami dropped a BTS video showing glimpses from her training session on social media and captioned it, "@mustafa_thebull_ahmed, you have been my beacon of strength during the most crucial period - the making of âZooni Haksar'. I am deeply grateful for the countless hours of training, motivation, and genuine care. Meanwhile, on the work front, Yami Gautam will be next seen in 'Dhoom Dhaam.'
